The Quicklizard system supports adding custom product attributes through SFTP feed or API requests. These attributes often have names that are not necessarily human-reader friendly because they need to be sent without whitespaces or are short for coding reasons.
That's why we added the option to rename these attributes in a way that only changes the display name but not the attribute name itself (meaning the functionality remains the same).
Important note: when updating or pulling the attributes using API or file upload,
keep using the original attribute name - the new name is just for display.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Contact Quicklizard support to enable this feature.
- Navigate to the settings page by clicking on the gear icon on the top left corner of the screen.
- Click on Enabled Attributes
- You should now be able to rename the names of your attributes
- By hovering over the information icon, you can still see the original attribute name - which is still the attribute name to use for custom functionality and the one that is being updated by you
- Once you're done editing, press the blue save button at the bottom of the page - Otherwise, any changes will be discarded!
