1 A dedicated home for your parameter sheets
Parameter Sheets now lives in its own workspace under Pricing Logic › Parameters - a clean, focused place to manage every sheet for the Site and Pricing Channel you’re working in.
- A clean index page lists every sheet for the selected Site and Pricing Channel.
- A search bar filters your sheets by name instantly - no more scrolling to find the one you need.
Open any sheet and the new header puts everything important up front: the sheet name (editable on the spot), a live row count, an optional description, and a ‹ Parameters List breadcrumb to get back in one click.
2 Edit right in the table - no more re-uploading
This is the big one. You no longer need to export, edit a spreadsheet, and re-upload just to fix a column or add one row.
- Add and delete rows directly in the table.
- Multi-select - tick the checkbox on any rows and delete them in bulk. A selection panel shows how many rows you’ve picked.
- Rename and re-describe your sheet straight from the header. Note: changing the name can affect the associated custom function, so do so with caution.
Your edits are tracked as you go, and nothing is committed until you press Save - so you can review everything before it goes live.
3 A guided setup wizard
Creating or restructuring a sheet is now a guided, two-step experience instead of configuring columns one at a time.
Step 1 - Define your table
- Drop in a CSV (or browse) to pre-fill the table - optional.
- Give the table a name and an optional description.
- For each column, set a clear field type and mark whether it’s a key.
| Field type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Text | Free-text values |
| Number | Whole or decimal numbers |
| Date | Calendar dates, with a date picker |
| Percentage | Percentage values, entered as decimals {(0.1 = 10%) Note: The value in the custom functions would be the numeric one} |
- Add, rename, reorder, or remove columns as you like.
4 Ranges made simple
Ranges used to mean hand-crafting JSON inside a single column. Now they’re a guided step in the wizard.
- Choose Number Range, Date Range, or the new Percentage Range.
- Pick the “From” and “To” columns from drop-downs.
- Give the range a friendly name for use in your custom functions.
- A defined range automatically counts as a key - and can be your sole key.
You can define multiple ranges per sheet (up to 10), and the wizard guides you with clear, real-time feedback if anything needs attention.
5 Room to grow - up to 40× more data
Parameter Sheets now scales to serious datasets, while staying fast and smooth to scroll - so working with tens of thousands of rows feels just as responsive as a small table.
100,000 rows per sheet up from 2,500 | 50 sheets per account previously up to 20 | 10 key & range columns up from 5 / 2 |
6 Drag-and-drop CSV upload
Importing data is now effortless.
- Drag a CSV straight onto the upload area, or click Browse.
- The drop zone highlights as you drag, so you always know it’s ready.
- After upload, your data appears in the table immediately for review and editing - before you commit anything.
Before you upload - match these CSV formats
Dates as DD/MM/YYYY (optional HH:MM); Numbers without separators (e.g., 1999.99); Percentages as decimals - enter 0.1 for 10% (divide the percentage value by 100).
7 Clear, guided error handling
When something in your data isn’t valid, the new system shows you exactly what and where - instead of leaving you guessing.
- A clear banner pinpoints each issue by row and column - e.g. “Validation issue in Row 5: value in ‘Relationship’ must be a valid number.”
- Step through every error with the 1-of-N navigation (1 of 20, 2 of 20 …); the table jumps to each flagged cell.
- The offending cells are outlined in red so the fix is obvious.
- Errors clear instantly the moment you enter a valid value.
Every field is validated against its type as you edit - numbers must be numbers, dates must be real dates, percentages must be valid, and required key fields can’t be left blank.
Why it matters
A sheet with unresolved errors can’t be saved, which keeps broken data out of your pricing cycle. Only clean, error-free sheets take part in pricing - so your prices stay trustworthy.
8 Never lose your work
Unsaved changes are now protected at every exit point.
- Guarded exits - navigating away inside the app, closing the tab, or refreshing prompts you to confirm before anything is lost.
- The Save button only lights up when you actually have changes - and choosing Cancel asks you to confirm before discarding.
9 Faster everyday actions
A new Manage menu and header actions put common tasks one click away.
- Rename the sheet and edit its description.
- Save as a copy to spin up a variant without starting over.
- Export the last saved version to CSV any time.
- Manage all the sheet settings easily.
In short
A true editing workspace
Parameter Sheets is now a real workspace.
You can build, fix, and grow your pricing data directly in the UI - with far more capacity, simpler ranges, and guardrails that keep bad data out of your pricing.
