Before utilizing the platform, you must complete certain fundamental tasks. These include loading and updating your products in the system, updating data on your competitors, pulling recommendations, and loading analytical data.
How it works?
Quicklizard pricing engine works best when it gets up-to-date data.
The platform can process operational data, competitors, and analytics data.
To get the best results, set up automation to update the price recommendation from the engine.

We offer two ways of integration for your convenience - API and SFTP.
Should I use API or SFTP?
Each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
Here is a brief overview of the two:
API
API offers greater flexibility, allowing you to execute actions whenever needed without relying on any Quicklizard process.
In contrast, the CSV method requires adherence to a specific time of day, and the data to be uploaded must be prepared in advance.
Another advantage of the API is its ease of implementation for changes. Most implementations depend solely on the data sent, and as long as it is in the correct format, changes can be made at any time.
On the other hand, changes to processes using CSV files for data upload are more complex and require coordination with Quicklizard teams.

SFTP
When using SFTP connection, we expect to get a CSV file. The CSV offers simpler management and tracking capabilities. Identifying issues within the file and adjusting incorrect data are much more straightforward tasks.
Moreover, setting up a connection with CSV is a one-time task, not requiring repetitive actions. Subsequently, accessing our SFTP server becomes very easy.

Transfer Operational Data
Operational data includes your product's metadata - identifiers, cogs, shelf price, image and more.
Both integration methods are covered in the Updating Your Products catalog guide.
Transfer Competitors Data
Transfer Analytics to Quicklizard
The most effective approach to integrate your analytical data with Quicklizard is through the API endpoint. Additionally, there are two alternative methods: Server-to-Server integration and utilizing a CSV file.
All three methods are covered in our Integrating Your Analytics guide.
Note: When deciding between the methods, consider your specific needs. While the API is the most recommended approach, if you prefer to update data directly from your site the moment it occurs, the server-to-server method is better choice.
Pull your recommendations
For pulling the data we highly recommend using the API method, to keep the process dynamic.
Check out our Getting Your Recommendations from Quicklizard manual here for a detailed explanation about the endpoint, and our documentation here on the different variables.
